Specify Self-Sealing and Opening Evidence Separately
A bag can have an adhesive closure without providing an agreed indication of opening. Before using “self-seal” as a security requirement, decide what the receiver needs to observe and which packaging component should provide it. Write closure and opening evidence as separate requirements in the enquiry.

Start with the published closure
YUANEN’s self-adhesive foil insulated bag has a peel-and-seal flap and heat-sealed edges. That identifies a closing arrangement. The published construction does not establish a dedicated opening indicator, approved resealing or a security certification. Keep those functions unconfirmed unless the exact proposed construction and sample evidence answer the requirement.
Ask the buyer to describe the handover: who closes the pouch, who receives it and what observation triggers a query. If only a closed mouth is required, record that scope. If visible evidence of opening is needed, ask for the intended indication and review method separately rather than infer them from a sticky flap.
A specialist seal is a separate specification
Identify the proposed seal or indicator, its supplier and version, the exact surface it touches and how it relates to the pouch closure. Ask whether changes to printing, finish or bag construction require another compatibility review. An illustration or generic label description cannot close these questions, and this guide does not add an accessory to YUANEN’s supply scope.
Review the two requirements on the same sample
Agree the observation and acceptance method with the suppliers and receiving team. Use representative samples of the proposed bag and any separately requested indicator. Record the normal closing process, authorised opening and what a receiver can actually recognise. Photograph observations under the same sample reference and keep unclear results open for review. Do not prescribe universal application pressure, temperature or delay from this guide.

- Opening-indication record: separate component and supplier ___; surface and position ___; expected indication ___; authorised opening observation ___; receiver interpretation ___; decision and evidence ___.
Keep the claims within the reviewed scope
An intact-looking seal alone cannot demonstrate freshness, hygiene, authenticity or that no other access path exists. This procurement review does not replace controls for the contents or establish a legal requirement. It provides no instructions for bypassing a seal. Any ambiguous indication should follow the buyer’s agreed exception process.
Send YUANEN the actual bag specification, receiving workflow, separate functional requirements and open compatibility questions. Confirm samples, supply responsibilities and order terms in writing. The cover shows an ordinary flat pouch with a white top strip; it is not evidence of a tamper-indicating function or a successful closure test.
