How to specify an insulated bag

Specify an insulated bag as a complete system: outer fabric, insulation, lining, closure, contents and coolant. A material name or a single thickness does not establish the thermal performance of the finished shipment.

Match the test to the delivery route
Record the initial product temperature, packed mass, coolant preparation, ambient profile, transit time and frequency of opening. Define where temperature is measured and the acceptable range. Evaluate the complete pack-out with the outer carton or delivery container that will actually be used.
