Atlantic Recaps Fiber Packaging Trials on Existing Lines at PACK EXPO
Atlantic Packaging published a recap on 28 October 2026 of fiber-based packaging demonstrations with Garrido, Marden Edwards and Starview at PACK EXPO International, held in Chicago on 18–21 October. The purchasing question is specific: which material and packaging format can work with the line being considered? A demonstration of one combination does not approve another material or production setup.

Three demonstrations, three different packaging formats
According to Atlantic, Garrido demonstrated the AMS-JR forming fiber mailers around products. Marden Edwards ran Canopy paper on tuck-and-fold overwrapping equipment. At Starview, Paperform paperboard packaging and Canopy HS100 heat-sealable paper were assembled and sealed together on blister equipment. These are distinct applications, rather than a single interchangeable paper solution.
What a buyer should retain from a material trial
Treat the demonstration as a reason to request a matched trial. Keep the proposed material specification, machine configuration and finished-pack reference together. For each change, ask which evidence still applies and what needs another check. The following questions define a trial brief; they are not test results reported by YUANEN.
- Mailers: which paper grade and dimensions were fed, formed and closed around the intended product? Retain the setup and the resulting pack for review.
- Overwrap: does the selected paper, carton geometry and fold/closure arrangement match the trial? Record changes to the carton or printed material.
- Paperboard blister-format packs: identify the formed component, sealing paper and equipment setup as one combination. Keep finished-pack protection and any recycling evidence as separate acceptance questions.
Keep the conclusion within the demonstrated scope
Atlantic’s recap supports an account of its stated demonstrations. It does not establish that every coated paper will run on every existing machine, or that a buyer’s finished pack has passed transport, sealing or recycling assessment. Ask the responsible material and equipment suppliers for evidence matching the actual proposed combination.
These demonstrations concern the named suppliers’ mailer, overwrap and paperboard formats. They are not evidence that YUANEN owns the equipment, supplies those systems or has tested an equivalent construction.
