Keep Chocolate Gift Packaging in the Coolant Separation Brief
A chocolate shipment can have two acceptance requirements: the contents must meet their agreed temperature conditions, and the gift packaging must arrive in an acceptable condition. YUANEN’s current chocolate application for foil box liners asks buyers to specify protective packing, coolant separation and moisture checks. This guide turns those requirements into a sample brief without assuming that a particular separator has already been tested.

Describe the finished gift package
Use the closed gift box with its actual sleeve, ribbon and any protective wrapping. Record the greatest outside dimensions, packed mass and the presentation details you intend to accept. Identify exposed corners, a raised bow or a sleeve edge that could touch the liner or separator. Decide which marks or changes require a revision before the trial. This keeps an attractive but empty display box from becoming the only sizing reference.
Specify each contact surface
Name the selected refrigerant and follow its confirmed preparation instructions. Measure it in the condition intended for packing, then mark where its pouch would contact the gift box, protective layer or foil liner. For any proposed separator, record the material, dimensions, placement and who will supply it. Ask the responsible team to assess suitability for the intended contact. A white panel in an application image is a layout prop; neither its appearance nor a foil-facing proves moisture protection or direct-food-contact suitability.
Reserve space without prescribing a universal gap
Check the usable interior of the actual foam box after adding the liner. Include the gift package, corner protection, separator, prepared refrigerant and top-fold space in the loading sketch. The lid should seat under the agreed closure conditions without pressing on the presentation parts. A fixed gap copied from another gift box does not establish protection for this arrangement. If you change the separator or coolant position, repeat the physical fit check and keep the revised sketch.
Separate appearance observations from temperature results
For an agreed trial, record the starting condition of the gift box and the prepared coolant, then photograph the contact locations before closing. Agree the route or exposure conditions and the point at which the package will be opened. On unpacking, photograph each layer before moving it and note the location of any moisture, staining, surface marks or displaced protection. Record temperature measurements under a separate agreed method. An undamaged ribbon does not demonstrate a temperature result, and a temperature result alone does not establish the gift box’s condition.
- Sample identity: gift package, foam box, liner and proposed separator versions.
- Before packing: surface condition, prepared coolant dimensions and the loading sketch.
- At unpacking: layer and location of each observation, with a photograph reference.
- Acceptance: presentation decision and thermal decision, with revisions listed separately.
Make the quotation match the checked arrangement
Send YUANEN the gift-package measurements, protection and contact sketch, coolant proposal, required conditions, route, quantity and destination. Identify the liner dimensions and folding arrangement you want to sample. Confirm which party supplies the outer box, refrigerant and separator; the application illustrations do not include them in the liner quotation. This is a purchasing record proposal, not a claim that a separator prevents condensation or that the liner guarantees unmelted chocolate. Construction and performance remain subject to the actual sample and complete pack-out evidence.
