Set the Start Date for a Custom Insulated-Bag Order
A custom insulated-bag quotation needs an agreed starting condition as well as a duration. Before relying on an expected arrival date, ask which confirmations must be complete, who records that completion and which later dates remain estimates. A drawing sent, a sample requested and a production slot confirmed are different events.

Fix the order revision before discussing a starting date
Use one reference for the bag construction, dimensions, quantity by version, artwork and required delivery destination. For YUANEN’s current beverage delivery-bag proposal, the final construction and any proposed removable divider depend on the agreed sample and order. Do not treat the pictured cup layout as a capacity commitment or as a specification already released to production.
Ask what sample or artwork review applies to this specific order. The customization page’s method-specific electronic-artwork and physical-sample arrangements concern the products named there; they should not be extended to every insulated bag. Write down the required confirmation and the person authorized to give it.
Separate the confirmation gates
The following is a proposed buyer–supplier planning record, not a statement of YUANEN’s current factory schedule. For every applicable gate, record its prerequisite, expected date, actual confirmation date, owner and unresolved condition. Ask which gate starts the quoted production duration and whether the quotation states calendar days, working days or another basis.
- Specification/artwork confirmed ___; applicable sample review completed ___; written quotation/order conditions effective ___; unresolved prerequisite ___.
- Material readiness confirmed ___; production slot confirmed ___; agreed inspection/release completed ___; shipment planned ___; carrier hand-over ___; destination arrival estimate ___.
Keep production completion and arrival distinct
Ask whether the quoted date describes completion, readiness for collection, hand-over or delivery to the destination. Link inspection and release to the agreed order requirements, then confirm who arranges transport and which shipping estimate applies. A production duration alone does not establish transit time, destination handling or a guaranteed arrival date. Confirm commercial and payment conditions in the actual written order without inventing a standard deposit or release rule.
Reconfirm dates when an input changes
If artwork approval is late, the sample changes or the ordered construction is revised, record the change and ask the supplier which gates must be reopened. Keep the previous dates as history and obtain a revised plan with its remaining assumptions. Do not assume the original shipment date survives automatically, and do not mark an estimated date as confirmed just because another team has booked around it.
- Change record: order/revision ___; changed input ___; affected gates ___; supplier response ___; revised expected dates ___; confirmed dates ___; remaining conditions ___; next update owner/date ___.
