Keep Sensor Positions With the Loaded-Bag Test Record

A temperature trace is difficult to interpret when the record does not show where its sensor was placed. For YUANEN’s proposed front-opening catering bag, retain a placement record alongside the actual lidded trays, coolant arrangement and bag-sample revision. The useful purchasing output is a reproducible description for the testing team, with the measurement plan and acceptance conditions agreed separately.

Identify the load before identifying the measuring point

Give the bag sample, tray and lid combination, planned contents and coolant arrangement one linked job reference. Include the actual closed-container dimensions and loading photograph. YUANEN’s current carrier proposal has a non-woven exterior, aluminum foil lining, a fold-down front and short side grips. Its illustration does not specify a sensor pocket, cable port or supplied logger.

  • Load record: job ___; bag revision ___; tray/lid references ___; contents and starting condition ___; coolant reference, preparation and position ___; loading photo ___.

Show what each sensor measures

Assign each measuring point a code and link it to the device identifier. Describe the position relative to a named tray, the front opening, an inner wall or the coolant, as appropriate to the agreed test plan. Photograph the location before it becomes hidden by the next tray. Use a second view or a simple position sketch when the first photograph cannot locate it unambiguously.

State whether the intended measurement concerns air in the bag, a container surface or a specified location in the contents. Do not relabel an air reading as food-core temperature. The testing team must select suitable equipment, placement and acceptance criteria for the intended use; this article sets no universal number of sensors or food-safety limit.

  • Position record: point code ___; device ID ___; measurement object ___; reference tray ___; location description ___; photo/sketch ___; plan revision ___.

Keep the front closure and the timing in the record

For a wired setup, have the testing team confirm the cable route before closing the sample. Record any gap, compression or changed closure; do not force a wire through the zipper or puncture the lining to create an undocumented port. For a self-contained device, record how it is held in the agreed position without assuming that a mounting accessory is supplied.

Retain the device time reference, time zone, recording interval and original data file under the same job reference. Link loading, closure and opening times to that reference. If a sensor moves or a tray is replaced, record when it happened and keep the changed arrangement separate instead of silently combining it with the original run.

Send the position record with the sample enquiry

Send YUANEN the actual tray-and-lid dimensions, intended load arrangement, bag-sample reference and any proposed equipment-clearance requirement. Confirm construction and fit on the sample. Ask the responsible testing team to identify the applicable test plan, ambient conditions, initial conditions and acceptance criteria. Keep its test report and the linked placement record together.

This is a proposed documentation method, not a completed temperature test. The new cover shows the carrier interior without a measurement setup. Neither the cover nor a completed position sheet establishes cooling duration, sensor accuracy or safe food temperature.
