Insulated Catering Bags for Tray-Based Delivery
A taller, top-opening insulated bag planned around lidded catering trays. Specify tray rims, loaded height and handling clearance, then confirm the carrying arrangement with a sample.
AI-assisted design illustrations based on the existing delivery bag. Trays and food are props. Final construction, tray fit and performance require sample confirmation.
Applications
Catering teams · event meal service · prepared-food delivery

Materials & construction
Proposed outer fabric + EPE insulation + foil-facing liner; specification by sample
Specify the outer fabric, insulating layer, lining, handle attachment and closure as one construction. Review print area, edging and assembly details during sampling.
- Measure the widest tray rim with the lid fitted; allow room for hands and zipper closure.
- Check filled weight, base support, handle balance and tray movement in a loaded sample.

Product functions

Insulation structure
A specified composite construction helps limit heat exchange during handling.
Practical packing
Match the opening and usable space to the actual product container.
Brand customization
Agree dimensions, artwork and finishing against a sample.
Temperature range and retention time depend on the complete loaded system and test conditions. No untested hour or temperature rating is claimed.
Order quantities
Compare three order scenarios using the same approved specification. Quantity breaks are set in your written quotation for each size and artwork version.
Sample evaluation
Review material, dimensions, print and packing before placing a production order.
First production order
Confirm the minimum quantity for the selected material, size and artwork.
Volume & repeat orders
Request quantity breaks, packing efficiency and staged delivery options.
MOQ & pricing
A quote built around your specification.
- Minimum order
- Confirm by size, material and print version
- Unit price & currency
- Written quotation required
- Quantity breaks
- Based on your requested order quantities
Send size, quantity, material, artwork and destination. Ask for sample/setup charges, packaging, freight, delivery terms and quotation validity to be listed separately.

Sampling, manufacturing and transit are separate periods. The confirmed quotation should state the starting conditions and planned dispatch date; destination arrival also depends on transport and customs.
Dimensions
Specify usable space, not just the outside size.
Provide width × depth × height and mark internal or external dimensions. Allow space for coolant, the closure and loading clearance. For flat pouches, specify width, usable height and flap separately.
Custom dimensions and tolerances are confirmed during sampling. Supply mm or inches consistently (1 in = 25.4 mm).
Width × Depth × Height
Export documentation
Agree the documentation required by the destination and the exact product construction before ordering. These are document categories to review, not a claim that a certificate has been issued.

Plan your tray packing layout
Include rims, lids and handling space
Measure the tray at its widest rim, including the lid. Decide whether trays sit side by side or in a stack, then check the loaded layout against usable bag dimensions and the opening. Nominal tray names are not enough for a fit check.
Review the loaded construction
The reference delivery bag combines a non-woven exterior, EPE insulation, foil lining and a zipper. Review base support and handle balance with the intended load. Dividers, reinforcing panels or additional handles require a separate design decision.
Plan access and cleaning
Describe how trays enter and leave the bag during service. Check access without forcing the lid or tilting the tray. Agree the cleaning method for the selected lining and seams; the lining material alone does not establish that the complete bag is leakproof.
Catering order questions
Are compartments included?
No compartment layout is specified in this proposal. If the order needs separators, agree their purpose, dimensions and attachment during the design review.
What to confirm before production
Measure the widest tray rim with the lid fitted; allow room for hands and zipper closure.
Check filled weight, base support, handle balance and tray movement in a loaded sample.
Tray capacity, load rating and thermal duration require agreed testing. Trays are illustration props; no dividers or electric heating are specified.
A useful answer.
Will a standard catering tray fit?
Check the actual tray and lid dimensions against the sample. The required opening and usable internal space can vary even when two trays share a nominal size.
What information is needed for a custom bag quote?
Share the bag type, usable dimensions, layer structure, quantity, artwork, delivery destination and target date. Include testing, compliance and packing requirements so quotations cover the same scope.
What are the MOQ and lead time?
MOQ and lead time depend on the product, material, artwork and production schedule. Confirm both against your exact specification; the published capacity figure is not a delivery-time commitment for an individual order.
